MANIK

Chris Manik aka MANIK fired onto the electronic music scene in 2011 with releases on Ovum, Poker Flat and Culprit. The Queens native is the quintessential New York City DJ; a connoisseur of dance music with an inimitable style that crosses multiple genres. A seasoned crate digger, MANIK spends hours in record shops to find those forgotten records and hidden gems. Now residing in sunny Southern California, Chris is also a tastemaker and educator.

Since his electronic beginning, he has also released on labels including Bpitch Control, Kim Ann Foxman's Firehouse, Fresh Meat Chicago and he is known for cheeky edits of Sade, Janet Jackson and the Beastie Boys. The sounds of MANIK can be found in the crates of the worlds leading underground DJs and tastemakers; Kim Ann Foxman, Maya Jane Coles, Ellen Allien, Steve Bug, and Josh Wink all being regular supporters.

As a DJ, MANIK's international profile has risen just as quickly. Having played in 40 countries: Panorama Bar Berlin, Womb Tokyo, Fabric London, Revolver Melbourne, Good Room Brooklyn and many more throughout the years. Chris continues to bring his unique brand of house and techno, old school and new school, expertly crafted music to the dance-floor.

2017 proved to be an extraordinary year for MANIK. His highly praised second album "Undergroundknowledge" on Ovum received many accolades including an 8/10 in Mixmag. Welcome To My Crate, the artists own brand/radio show had interviews with seminal dance artists: Kevin Saunderson, Doc Martin, Juan MacLean and more. In 2018, Chris will launch of a full long form conversation podcast, as well as new MANIK EP's on Fresh Meat Chicago and Culprit LA.

Harvard Bass

Mexican-American bad-boy Victor ‘Harvard Bass’ has always brought together the raw appeal of American booty with the style and function of European Ass. His sound has earned him in-crew-sion in Seth Troxler’s Tuskegee posse, Green Velvet’s Relief Records, and of course Tiga's Turbo. With years of releases under his belt, he’s maintained an impressively consistent voice.

It all comes down to the fact that he is a bonafide sex addict who managed to turn a problem into a career by combining his obsession with thickness and his prowess for production. His Releases can be heard as Harvard Bass’ confession, his plea of insanity set to the sound of a perfectly functioning Ibiza super-club, complete with sexy paid dancers, industrial smoke cannons, and the kind of mass communal ego death that comes from 10+ straight hours of tech-house.

With the Launch of his very own Bump City Records, Harvard has vowed to put his famous raw ghetto sexiness on the map. Boom-time, ladies and gentlemen.
