From somber hip hop instrumentals, elaborate electronic soundbeds to incredibly potent vocal features, the album explores the light and dark of feelings and expresses them in earnest. Including a slew of guests like Canadian indie alt-pop auteurs Maxime, Lhasa Petik and Afternoon Bike Ride, lofi/electronic beat scholars Somni, quickly, quickly, and Arbor as well as anti-pop rappers Bobby Raps and BLOOD $MOKE BODY, the album tells the story of feeling Under Fire, but not being buried by it.
