  • ZenZag

ZenZag is a collaboration of musicians stemming from different walks of life. Their journey started as an acoustic duo between Patrick and Aliyah Valdez. Using music as a way to connect with themselves and each other, the project naturally grew and with every member that joined the sound evolved. ZenZag could be described as Reggae fusion but their sound is much more than that. With heavy influences from Miles Davis, Steel Pulse, System of a Down, Santana and Erykah Badu, their live show takes you on a ride of where they have been and where they are going. The highs and lows of energy felt while experiencing ZenZag forces you to close your eyes, open your ears, and release yourself to the moment.

The meaning of the name ZenZag is “A peaceful change in direction” and they strive to embody that message in the moves that they make. They have a profound message within their music and are on a mission to connect and share their energy and vibes with many different audiences. They can be found playing in local and national venues, private events, and charity fundraisers. They are making noise in the West Coast music scene and will soon be on festival lineups and national tours. Keep your eye on the ZenFam. They are making moves and are only getting started.

  • Strange Crew

Strange Crew is an Eric Clapton tribute band with a twist - Strange Crew performs any song Eric Clapton played at least once in his career.  This includes his solo material, band material, as well as special one off performances.  You'll hear classic Clapton music from The Yardbirds, John Mayall’s Bluesbreaker’s, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes and solo career.  You'll also might hear songs Clapton played while supporting Roger Waters, John Lennon, Steve Winwood, George Harrison, Joe Cocker, The Stones and more.

Strange Crew’s music goes from playing the very “wah-wah” drenched, heavy-blues Cream era music to other genres: blues, jam band, country, rock, reggae, and straightforward rock and roll. These interpretative Clapton performances feature guitar pyrotechnics, thunderous tight drums, funky thick bass, jazzy flute and beautiful backing vocals.
