Describing himself as "a DJ first, producer second, and MC last," Madlib is one of the many aliases of Otis Jackson, Jr., who has become one of the most celebrated, prolific, and eclectic artists in hip-hop since emerging on the scene in the early '90s. Also known as Beat Konducta, Quasimoto, Malik Flavors, DJ Lord Such, and the Loopdiggaz, among his dozens of handles, the unique sound and feel of Madlib's work (created without computers, using old-school recording and sampling gear) has made him a valued collaborator with a number of leading hip-hop performers, and a widely praised figure in the underground rap community.

Dauche

Dauché musically ignites soulful positive vibes with a strong passion for hip-hop and R&B, and an unconditional compassion for people. Her song selections, clean transitions, and perfected blends exude professionalism and a seamless flow as she keeps the crowd entertained.
With 10 years of experience in the arts and entertainment industry, Dauché has landscaped the music scene through promotions, photography, event coordination and artist management. Inspired by her mentor DJ Artistic in 2013, Dauché enrolled in his “Learn to DJ” course and was later put on the spot to play the next song at the Phantom Lounge. This defining moment sparked the beginning of her flourishing career as a DJ.
Dauché is the Resident DJ at the Phantom Lounge, and to date, has had the amazing opportunity to DJ at the following venues and special events: F6ix, Art in the Park @ Blue Foot Bar, Bar Pink, House of Blues New Year’s Eve Block Party, Bridges, Top Shop Ivy Park Collection Release, The Vibe Bar & Grill (Riverside, CA), WTF Wednesdays @ El Dorado, Poetic Waves @ Freshly Faded Barber + Shop, Co-mmunity San Diego, Culture @ Air Conditioned Lounge, The San Diego Hip Hop 5K, David’s Harp Foundation Open House and Fundraising Event, and a host of private and community events.
