OUT to End Gun Violence: A Pride Kickoff to Benefit The Brady Center featuring JUSTIN TRANTER, East of Eli ft. Chyler Leigh and Danielle LoPresti ft. Alicia Champion
Multiplatinum songwriter and 2018 “Song of The Year” Grammy nominee, Justin Tranter, is the country’s hottest hitmaker. The former frontman of glam punk band, Semi Precious Weapons, Tranter is the pop genius behind today’s biggest stars including Justin Bieber (”Sorry”), DNCE (“Cake By The Ocean,” “Kissing Strangers"), Imagine Dragons (“Believer”), Julia Michaels (“Issues”), Janelle Monae (“Make Me Feel”), among countless others. An outspoken activist for LGBTQ rights and gun control, Justin Tranter headlines this evening dedicated to causes closest to his heart.
Danielle LoPresti is a local music and community icon known best for creating and producing the ten year run of San Diego IndieFest. Lauded by CityBEAT for her “take-no-prisoners vocal style that makes her a gawk worthy presence,” LoPresti’s activist-rock performances are as powerful as they are important. Featured with LoPresti is partner, Alicia Champion, whose most recent release, “My Super Girl,” is currently in Top 40 and College radio rotation.
"East of Eli’s sound falls into the indie alternative pop category, merging various flavors from classical, hip hop, pop and electronic dance music. The resulting sound projects a cinematic pop essence flowing with persuasive melodies, mature harmonics and captivating rhythms."—Huffington Post
