    Jesus Gonzalez

Jesus Gonzalez is a visionary local San Diego musician who draws inspiration from nature, poetry and the overall experience of being alive. Jesus creates original and improvised songs that invite you to be present with your heart and the magic of the moment we’re all living in. In a recent interview with NPR’s top shelf artists series, Jesus said “At the core of it all I think my music is simply shouting ‘Can you believe we’re all here?!’”. Using a looper, Jesus creates layers of soulful vocal harmonies, different instrumentation, and percussion to create vast lush sounds that are sure to help you fall in deeper into your sense of self.

  • Helena Holleran

    Helena Holleran

Eyes closed, ears open, as the sounds of Helena Holleran fill the void between them. Paying respect to soulful legends (Nina Simone, Curtis Mayfield, Amel Larrieux, Esperanza Spalding) while breathing in something new entirely, Helena’s original music disrupts the mainstream of computer generated beats and lyrics of materialism.

Her professional music career started senior year of high school when she interned for Surf Dog Records in Encinitas, CA. Working with them taught her invaluable skills she could translate into her own independent music career. Skills such as, marketing new releases, managing a music business on social media, coordinating bookings, and licensing music to tv and film, to name a few. By 18 she received sponsorships from QSC Audio & Taylor Guitars. Taking a leap of faith to pursue music full-time, Helena can be seen playing live at local and national venues and music festivals and contributing to charitable community projects like Banding Together whose mission is to “bring unique music opportunities to individuals with special needs in our community”.

  • Nihiser

    Nihiser

Dark yet danceable; Nihiser has maintained its following in the Stockholm underbelly. Led by Keegan Smith (Francesca Fiore), Michael Panek (Transviolet), and Ted Neeleman (Mother G) , the latest iteration of the group came to fruition after meeting at a cafe in San Diego, California. Described as emotive, heinous, and unwavering, these brunettes do their goddamn best to move bodies.
