Sonic Moonshine

This band was born out of a love of music, friendship and family. Joel, Michael, Ken, Jimmy and Patrick are unofficial brothers. You'll hear them scream "BROTHER!!" when they first see each other and give an awkwardly long hug when they leave. Needless to say, this shows when they take the stage.

Band practices are a mix of music, party and family get togethers. Kids are running around the house while they boys piss off the neighbors with rocking tunes. The ladies of Sonic Moonshine (the wives) support them without question and with great enthusiasm. The unlimited supply of wine and beer probably helps.

All kidding aside, the band would not exist without the family environment.

The music is a mix of some great bands. It actually started with Ken and Michael reaching out to Joel and asking "Hey, what do you think about a Foo Fighters tribute!". After they roped him in, they added other great bands that could be easily tied to Foo.

They like to play the "other" famous songs that bands play. What that means is you won't hear all the songs that have been killed by the radio, but the good ones that didn't. You'll say "Ah yeah!! That song rocks! I forgot about that one!"

There are a lot of cover bands in San Diego. In fact the guys of Sonic Moonshine are out regularly to support many of them or you might see them sharing the stage with some the best. I think what makes these guys special is they don't do it for the money or the fame. They do it for you - the fans. A smiling face and a banging head is the currency of Sonic Moonshine.

Journeymen

Southern California's hottest JOURNEY tribute band! JOURNEYMEN perform Journeys greatest hits along with killer classic rock favorites!

Electric Mud

Electric Mud is Marc Hansen, Matty Hansen, Matt Sorena and Colton Cori.

Two brothers started out from NYC, left for sunny San Diego and the Navy. Thats where they met Colton Cori. Jamming turned into a full-time band and Cousin Matt Sorena moved out from the east coast to join up with the boys.

Now with Cousin Matt on bass, Colton Cori on guitar, Matty on drums and Marc on guitar and vocals, Electric Mud is starting out with their own sound influenced heavily by the old rocknroll bands of the 60s and 70s.

Spark In The Rain is their first album... Stand by for the next one coming soon!
